What happens if you drink Holy Water? Nothing.
Nothing happens!
If you think that by drinking the Holy water your troubles will disappear, or your health will improve, you are acting in a pagan manner! Or like the Jews and the golden calf. Catholic life requires faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Remember: Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Now let’s look seriously what the Holy water can do in your life!
Do not be afraid of the Blessed Holy water. Use it wherever you feel the effects of evil, evil people, and evil events.
Because the power of the Holy water is great when you use it with in faith as you say the CREDO at every Mass:
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and of all that is, seen and unseen.
And you will see that the Holy water has its effects.
We presume, that you have been on the Holy Mass, and brought with you some Holy water back.
Do not place this water on a decorative shelf, but use it abundantly to help yourself and your family.
Bless with the Holy water your family, home, back yard, your car,… take it with you in a small bottle wherever you go somewhere on the road. If you are sick or have nightmares, bad thoughts, make a sign of Cross on your forehead with it.

How to use Holy water at home and How to bless a house with Holy water
+ Make a sign of Cross with the Holy water and pray like this:
“Let this water be a sign of Jesus Christ and our baptism and new life under the Kingdom of God.” Then with the prayers:
- Faith, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be,
sprinkle yourself, your family, (the sign of the Cross on the forehead) your home, yard, animals, things, land, orchards, vineyards,…
When you sprinkle the Blessed Water on the graves of your deceased, you can say: (Say the name of the deceased …) and add: Those who rest in this grave, by the waters of the baptism, were connected with Christ in their earthly life. By the mercy of our Savior, let them receive the mercy of eternal life. Through the same Christ, our Lord.
The Uses of the Holy Water
a) Forgiveness of smaller sins
b) Indulgences
c) Delivers mercy to the person
d) Removes the presence and influence of evil spirits
Sprinkling, especially a sign of the Cross with the Blessed water, is a sure weapon against the temptation of the devil.
If you ever heard about the Lourdes Sanctuary, you have definitely heard something about the Lourdes water or with pilgrims that go to the baths as a step towards the confession.
When our humble prayer is powerful enough to overcome the temptation, it is evident that this power is becoming stronger as the blessed water joins our prayer, especially because it has received the special blessing and power of the Church.
Saint Teresa from Avila mentions in here autobiography: “Nothing is so powerful to defeat the devil, and that he does not return, as much as the blessed water.”
