Our life is not our property but belongs to God. It is his gift and he wants it to become a gift to others.
Jesus Appears to the Disciples. Surprised and frightened, the disciples thought they saw a ghost. Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
The Empty Tomb – The disciples had to face the empty tomb first before they could accept Jesus ’announcement that He would die for our sins and then rise from the dead. They did not believe it until they saw the empty tomb.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ”(Jn 3:16) He proved his love for us by giving us everything he had – his only begotten Son.
“Zeal for your house will consume me” – When Jesus came to Jerusalem during the Passover, he shocked the Jewish leaders by forcibly expelling money changers and merchants from the temple.
Repent and believe the good news – Jesus overcame temptations and can lead us through these struggles if we allow Him.

We are now cleansed by faith in Jesus Christ, we can be part of the kingdom of God. It’s a free gift. There is no need to do any special and complicated cleaning tasks.
First Disciples of Jesus – It’s not an invitation. This is the call, “Follow me.” The creative word of God, which calls light and other beings into existence, now calls man – the image of God – to become partaker of the new creation.

Simeon and Anna are persons full of symbolism. Their role is to recognize the expected Messiah after the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.
God gives us grace and expects us to respond with the same will and heartfelt confidence as Mary did. God’s will also gives help and means to respond.
