There is no difference between those who receive more and those who receive less. They all receive according to their capabilities. It is important that the gift is given in the service of the kingdom and that because of this the treasures of the kingdom grow.

Jesus warns us of the consequences of unpreparedness. There are certain things that cannot be obtained at the last minute.

What is the life God gives us? How does this relate to our purpose and ultimate goal? Jesus answers this in His sermon on the mount. The heart of Jesus ’message is that we are created to live in a spirit of blessings.

Jesus summed up all the commandments into the two greatest commandments, namely, from Genesis 6.5 and Genesis 19:18. God’s love directs and guides everything. His love is holy, just, and pure because He seeks only that which is good and useful to man and creation. That is why God commands us to love.

Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. Jesus is aware of their hypocrisy. In his answer, he does not discuss with them, but goes to the heart of their question:.

But Jesus does not set boundaries. Giving and receiving forgiveness knows no bounds. The parable of two very different types of debts clearly shows this

May He grant us the wisdom and courage to approach the people who have hurt us in His way, so that we can heal ourselves and them holistically.

Jesus ’own prophecy of suffering and death on the cross caused his disciples deep resentment and rejection. Peter, who was often the first to respond to everything Jesus said, wanted to protect him from any threat. He, therefore, rejected his thought that he had to face suffering, condemnation, and crucifixion.

The church or community is not a kingdom, but a tool or indicator of the kingdom. When the Church, the community, allows God to reign and allows the Lord to lead their life, the kingdom of God becomes visible to all others.

The gift of life and salvation is for everyone. This is what God, infinite Grace, is telling us all the time. God does not belong to anyone, God is for everyone.

When we discover the kingdom of God, we receive the greatest possible treasure – the Lord Himself. Selling everything we have,to acquire this priceless treasure, it could mean many things – our friends, our job, our “Lifestyle,” everything we dedicate most of our time to.
